Funeral services for Roger Lynn Patrick, 69, of Zwolle will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Noble Baptist Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Zwolle. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 11 a.m. Funeral services for Dorothy Keel Miller, 94, of San Augustine, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapek with Bro.
She married Donald “Roy” Andrews on November 26, 1947. Bess is a former member of First Baptist Church of Diboll. She worked at the Texas Highway Department in Austin, TX; the Galleria in Houston, TX; and Harris County Appraisal District in Houston, TX. Bess believed in hard work and a cheerful attitude and always put her family first. George enjoyed fishing and cleaning out the pond.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and her three siblings, L.D. Hooper, Doris Nell Leonard, and John Wayne Hooper. Raymond was a Baptist by faith and a longtime member of Providence #1 in Leggett, serving as Deacon. He graduated from Corrigan-Camden High School in 1969.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm until service time on April 3rd at Blanchard-St. He is survived by his parents Bryan Miller, Sr. and Christi Miller. One brother Kasey Allan Miller, Grand Mother Martha LaCaze, Grandfather Bobby Miller and Grand Parents George Culpepper and Katherine Culpepper. And a host of cousins that were more like brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lehr of Zwolle, LA.; daughter, Dena Moore and husband Gerald of Many, LA.; sons, Bryan Lehr and wife Karen of Many, LA., Jonathan Lehr and wife Tiffany of Zwolle, LA.; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Lois was a Baptist by faith and a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Corrigan. She enjoyed bird watching, reading the newspaper, and studying God’s word. She was a master cook in the kitchen and made sure no one ever left her house hungry. In her younger years, she enjoyed growing her garden every year, having fresh vegetables to share with everyone.
He moved into law enforcement and served as a peace officer in Harris County before accepting a job in the Polk County Sheriff's Department. He served many years in law enforcement ending as Chief Deputy. Rick retired from law enforcement and managed property and cattle later in life. He was a volunteer fireman in East Texas and a certified First Responder. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. "Red" McDonald; son, Mike Jeffries; and sister, Roberta Grayson. During her life, Mrs. McDonald became a friend of Bill W. Bill loved his children endlessly and was their biggest fan. He was blessed to have a precious granddaughter; Olivia Rose and that little girl was the light of his life. Bill was a son, brother, and friend to many.
If anyone was in need he was right there to help. From his childhood days of helping his mother and daddy pick cotton, to sharing chores with his siblings, to helping neighbors. Growing up, Robert loved hunting and fishing, and continued that sport throughout his later years. He took care of his family, and was a wonderful husband and father, taking vacations with his wife and children.
Graveside services for Edith “Eah” Slaydon Winfree, 95, of DeRidder, will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Memorial services for James Andrew Madiar, 86, of Converse, will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Funeral services for Evelyn Sepulvado, 91, of Zwolle, will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2 p.m.-9 p.m. And Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1 p.m.-9 p.m.
Visitation and Funeral services for Marna Gail Smith Boswell will be held today at the Hicks Pentecostal Church from 5-8 p.m. Till noon with Funeral services beginning at noon. Burial will follow ther service in the Ebenezer Cemetary. Marna passed away on Wednesday at the age of 64. Ruben Eduardo Nevarez, 68, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Wednesday night, November 2nd, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home.
Of South Beloit, IL; brother, Micheal Fairchild and wife Vhangie of Killeen, TX; mother-in-law, Angel Potter of High Point; father-in-law, Kem Byrd of Mt. Airy; and brother-in-law, Daniel Byrd of High Point. He is survived by Mary Maudine Smith, wife of 57 years; children, Michael Smith, and Mandy Brown; sister, Susan LaBrose, three grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, and Sara; uncle, Roy Lee Smith; aunt, Jane Grumbles, grandchildren of our heart, T.J. Blankenship, Callie Marie Blankenship, and as well and many other family members and a host of friends. Lorine was a Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Moscow. At the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Wesley Scott.
